ADHAAR is a National level registered body of professionals of different fields. The organization was conceived in the year of 1993 under guidance and leadership of its Founder Executive Secretary, Mr. Arun Kumar with the mission of sustainable development under privilege children and women of the urban poor community.

ADHAAR is an amalgam of professionals of various field committed to empower children, women, senior citizen and other weaker sections. Our emphasis has been on enabling and strengthening the above target groups. In this Endeavour, we have professionals input from esteem people like social workers, educationist, medical practitioner, legal experts and personnel from corporate.

Mr. Arun kumar is professionally qualified in the field of Social Work (MSW) with extensive insight in the field of development sectors and community welfare for last 25 years. He was former Founder President (Hony) of ASHRAY, an NGO, Governing Member of Voluntary Health of Association of Delhi, Organization Member of ICYO ( Indian Committee of Youth Organizations) & Bal Adhikar Manch, NGO Forum (East), visiting Member cum Volunteer of Lions Club Anant Sagar 321-A-1(EAST), and he is Founder Member & Executive Secretary ( Hony) and Advisory & Board member in various Govt., Local Bodies, School College and Institutions, NGOs, International Lions Club, Guest Speakers (Health Education & gender Issues).

He has also enough working experience in the field of Drugs De–addiction, Community Organization, family Life & HIV- AIDS Counseling, Health – Education, Counseling, visiting guest lecturer, etc. He had also participated in number of National – International Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, and Training Courses etc.

Under his supervision, the society is putting our efforts to provide welfare services & activities for those who have not enough support & need external help for development e.g. women, children and youth who are living in Urban Poor Areas. Our main objective is to develop the human action for proper rehabilitation of those who are in the difficult circumstances. We are making an effort to raise the socio-economic status and psychological development of the community children through awareness & education.

ADHAAR has provided the information about various schemes of Government & Non Government for the benefit of women and girl child :Ration Card, Election Card / Voter Id, Birth & Death Certificate, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Ladli Scheme and other issued. Our organization has organized & celebrated important days and major issues awareness activities participate in Trade Fair, Suraj Kund Mela etc for promotion of Jute & Cotton Bags..
